[NYC] Queens Pride Parade & Festival steps off at Noon on Sunday June 1st 2008

Hello NYC and the Tri-state area. Pride is not just for Chelsea Boys and Manhattan Hipster's any more.

The annual Queens Pride Parade and Festival is the most important Social Event on the Calendar for Queens' own Lesbian, Gay Bisexual, Transgender Community as well their friends, families and allies. The yearly Pride events are a colourful, vibrant, down-home celebration showing the type of inclusive and welcoming community spirit that this most diverse of New York City's boros is known for.

The PARADE STEPS OFF at 12:00 Noon
at 37th Avenue between 89th Street and 75th Streets
Jackson Heights Queens

The FESTIVAL is Noon to 7:00pm
on 37th Road between 73rd Street and 77th Streets
Jackson Heights Queens

So you say all this sounds awfully good BUT you're just not that much of a "groups" person? Or you are one of the LGBT Community's many "str8 but not narrow" allies and you want very much to show your support but you don't know anyone? You want to be there BUT you're not sure who to come hang out with for the day?

The New York Area Bisexual Network welcome EVERYONE without regard to race, creed, caste, class, gender expression, orientation or identification. Bring your friends, bring your family, bring your dog, bring your own group's banner, bring your own sign or just bring your beautiful self!
